A Personal & Professional Approach to Fertility
Science and evidence backed research are at the heart of my approach. This is why I have qualifications from both the Institute for Optimum Nutrition where I spent four years training as a Nutritional Therapist (DipION, mBANT, CNHC), and from the University of Aberdeen where I have an MSc in Clinical Nutrition (MSc, ANutr), with a specialist focus on Fertility.
I specialise in supporting clients to optimise their fertility via nutrition from conception to pregnancy and beyond.

A lot of what my clients are going through I have been through. Multiple cycles of IVF, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, low AMH, endometriosis and an overactive immune system. At times it felt like it was never going to end, and I wished that I could have the support from someone else who truly understood what I was going through, but also had clinical knowledge and experience. This is what led me to dedicate my time and research to this space and to my clinic.
I have over 9 years of experience working privately with clients struggling with fertility. I have a particular interest in IVF and carried out research with the University of Aberdeen on the impact of BMI on IVF outcomes.

The power of nutrition intervention is something that I find incredible. I use diet along with supplementation and functional testing to understand what is happening in your body, how it is impacting your fertility and to create a plan to give you the best change possible of a healthy pregnancy and baby.

The Beginning: Low AMH
After starting my career as a nutritionist, I faced my own unexpected fertility challenges with a diagnosis of low AMH and being propelled into the world of fertility treatment. Even with my nutrition education, I found myself navigating the complex and emotional world of infertility.

Over the course of four years, I underwent 6 cycles of IVF stimulation, 4 egg collections, and 2 1U1s. Throughout this process, I used my expertise in nutrition and functional medicine to support my body and optimise my chances of success.

My Approach & Values
The core principles that guide my work with clients

BESPOKE
You are unique, your situation is unique. My approach in supporting you is unique and evidence-based. The nutrients needed at different points of your fertility journey will change and so will our dietary plan for you.

EXPERIENCE
The term 'it's a rollercoaster' was made for those experiencing fertility struggles. I have extensive experience supporting clients through IVF, miscarriage, endometriosis, PCOS, low AMH, POI, advanced maternal age, and male factor infertility.

SUPPORT
In addition to being a Registered Nutritionist, I have lived my own fertility experience. This puts me in a unique position to help both from a scientific perspective but also an emotional one I've lived the injections, blood tests, waiting rooms, hospitals, embryologist calls, fear, loss, hope and everything in between.
Functional testing, tailored health and lifestyle changes, and targeted supplementation can make a huge difference in the health of our hormones, quality of egg and sperm and ultimately improve our chance of conceiving and maintaining a healthy pregnancy.
I have a very tailored approach with clients, we are all unique and need to be supported differently to get the best outcome.
Outside of clinical work, I love yoga and reformer palates as a way to strengthen and switch off.
